Hi all!
The Jiggs family took advantage of the gorgeous fall weather here in
northern CA to pick up a few "out of the way" boxes!
IDE ADOBE box in Red Bluff (lots of visitors!) and
HOG LAKE PLATEAU - found on our second attempt - the kids and I were
here a few weeks ago, without success. Brought Mrs Jiggs along, and
she promptly found the box (again, lots of visitors, for the "middle
of nowhere!!) within 20 minutes!
BRANDY CREEK - first finders, after an "easy" straight-up the side of
a mountain climb! Any of you North Coasters - this one's well worth
the trip!
I had all the bad luck on this trip - twisted ankle and badly barked
shins in the lava beds, then twisted the same ankle onb the Brandy
Creek trail, before slipping down an incline at the falls and
wrenching my shoulder and scraping my elbow!
Gosh, what a great pastime we have!!

I'm curious, what does the "A3" refer to in your PFX count?

Well, I am sure that everyone's different, but for us, the A stands for Adopted. Boxes that someone else put out and are no longer taking care of, so we are now taking care of them.

Do we know where the Purple Heart box is? Sounds like you should be
next on the list!

Which lava beds were you visiting when you twisted your ankle?

Sounds like a good candidate for The Purple Heart Lb to me.
